This Weekend (August 24/25)

22 Aug 2019 by Chamblee Water Polo

This weekend we are hosting our first ever home games! Remember to invite all your family and friends to come cheer the teams on. Players should be wearing their team shirts to school every Friday. CMS players don’t forget that you are to meet Mr. Valley outside the gym before the pep rally on Friday.

B Team
Be at the pool at 9:15 and ready to set the pool up. Remember that if we are the first game of the day (regardless of where we play) that team is responsible for setting up the pool.

The 10am game is going to be a scrimmage at the request of the other team, we will share players with them. It’s a great opportunity for more playing time for our players.

The 12pm game will be a regular game. After the 12pm game, we encourage families to meet up at Galla’s for lunch.

A Team
Arrive at 10:30 and be ready to warm up.
We would love to see our A team players stay and support the B team during the 12pm game. After the 12pm game, we encourage families to meet up at Galla’s for lunch.

Please be looking at the schedule as we have two week-day games coming up. The A team plays at Pace on Monday, August 26th at 6pm. The team plays again on Tuesday, September 3 at 6pm at Wesleyan.

Kap7 Cup
The Kap7 Cup Tournament is at Dynamo this weekend. We highly recommend that players go watch a game or two. The 10am and 12:40 games on Sunday in the masters division should be high quality. Practice Schedule
Next week, Monday afternoon Coaches Victoria and Seth will host a B team practice from 4:15 to 5:45. Practice for the remainder of the week will be the regular schedule.

We will have no practice on Monday, September 2 (Labor Day). Tuesday, September 3rd morning practice will be for B team players only since the A team will be playing that afternoon. The remainder of the week will be the regular practice schedule.
